February 15th,2010,filed under Evaluation, Policymaker Engagement, Researcher

The CAPTURE Project, the Propel Centre for Population Health Impact and the Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Control at the Public Health Agency of Canada are sponsoring a knowledge exchange forum to be held in Ottawa on March 29 and 30, 2010.

This invitation only event will bring together approximately 50 participants from community-based practitioners, evaluators, government-based policymakers, funders, and researchers. The forum will enable participants to develop a better understanding of how to advance evaluation for learning and improvement in chronic disease prevention and health promotion.

By sponsoring this forum, The CAPTURE Project aims to deepen its understanding of the evaluation needs of health promotion practitioners and evaluators. We will use this information to develop the platform features, functionality, supports and services.

We will share more information on the outcome of this forum when it becomes available.
